Dear Wendchymes, will we get new pics of your cleavage, glowing in the italian sunlight? that would suit a vicarious jet-setter like me.

Dear Wendy, I loved your story about your grandparents and the picture was just so beautiful. I too have a very intense and important relationship with my grandparents and they are two of the most important people in my life. I hope you have a terrific time in Italy. Love, Anna

I am honored that you are crushing on me. I return the crush, though you must know, I am no fancy handbag, I'm more like an odd colorful purse you find on the dusty floor of the thriftshop and pay for with spare change found in the depths of the purse you walked in with. Not that that is bad.

One more thing. I don't know what sort of experiences Itylus has had with psychiatrists but they are not all butchers. Mostly they just hand out meds.

I disagree with Itylus to an extent. Although I went to a psychologist rather then a psychiatrist, it was the best $$ I ever spent. The best investment I ever made. And yes, it cost me thousands but how much $$ do you spend on handbags & such? Sometimes we are in the deepest pits and we are unable to get out unless someone helps us. I don't know about you but feeling like shit didn't make my life easier or better (actually made things worse). However, through reading your diary, you seem like you are enjoying your misery a lot. Maybe you don't really want things to change? By the way, who is this person you are pining for? Why don't you want to move on with your life?

No matter how bad things get, there's always someone else who's worse off than you who could use your help. But I think you're right to save the money you'd spend on seeing a psychiatrist. Also, keep in mind if you ever do want to see someone:
Psychoanalyst = Sitting around talking about your childhood
Psychiatrist = Electroshock, Chemical Lobotomies, Surgical Lobotomies

I'm glad to see some more cleavage in the catalogue of pictures on your page! I've been reading this book, "The Cloister Walk", by Kathleen Norris, um, and when I was reading your most recent entry I was reminded of it... I think you would like it.

The mystical children may be more real than the real children who squabble over pat the bunny at the library seering my brain. uggh. the blessed children are frozen butterflies amen hallelu.
