It's always such a pleasure to come by here and read what you've written. The love and devotion you have for your daughter is so inspiring. She looks like a real terror in that picture, though! ;)

I don't comment much these days, but I love the Sierra stories! My mom always said, enjoy the "help" while you can, because once they're old enough to be really useful, they won't want to do it anymore! :)

She is absolutely radiant, your Sierra. I wish my Att could meet her - they would surely to be the best of friends. All of a sudden, they are such 'big kids' now. I think I would be able to overlook it if it weren't for my real baby, Ro. He is about to be a year old - incredible! - and my big boy looks like a giant next to him. Even when it's crazy hectic, I still wish I could freeze time sometimes. They are such perfect little beings and I don't want it to change.

It is such a gift that you get to be with her every day. How is it that you're able to do that? If you want another one you should have one. You are the kind of mother anyone would be blessed to have. There's a $10,000 adoption tax credit almost no one knows about or uses.

When I was 18 months and learning to walk I fell and hit my head on a planter and got stitches and had a scar. But by age 7 the scar was totally gone.
My mom's version of the story sounds terrifying. I am so glad Sierra is okay. I am also glad I exposed Macy to little ones when she was a puppy. She is very well socialized with kids and is very kind and loveable, even when they poke at her.

I guess heartbreak is part of being a parent. I am glad your dad can be there for her anyway!

Hey Wendy,
Remember me? I can't believe how beautiful Sierra is and how much she has grown. I do a "look in" on you every now and then, seems that you are doing well and I am so glad of that, you do deserve it.
I miss chatting with you, drop me a line sometime.
Many hugs.
Donita
