Moss roses... They look like a bushy version of miniature roses, but with tubular leaves (that grasshoppers don't like, yeah!) and no thorns. Seed packages should be in stores any day--you can see pictures of them there. They are hardy, so should be available at any store that sells flower seeds.

I started reading your archives some months ago, then became distracted and didn't get back to it, though I never forgot about it. (Who could forget such a beautiful name and diary?) I am back, planning to stick with your archives till I have read them through. Your hauntingly beautiful writing has me putting down my poetic pen forever... (Well, not really, but it sounds pretty to say that. You're influencing my writing style already!) Yes, your template holds word beauty. Oh, Wend. How cheated I feel. Had I known that you were to pass by the store I would be shopping at the day before I got there, I would have arrived a day early and clammored my way to the roof and blew you kisses as you sped past on your way back to your purses. And I would have said, "Wendy! I'm blowing kisses to you from the Ikea roof and soon they will arrest me, but it will all have been for our love which is sort of an aquamarine color!" Oh, how I would have enjoyed that.
